STEM Student Workshop Intern
We're Hiring a STEM Workshop Paid Intern!
We believe that students deserve to have opportunities to explore, learn and have fun with STEM!
STEM Revolution is seeking a part-time classroom intern to help facilitate our expanding student workshop program during the school year. We will train and mentor however tech-savviness and a love for kids is a must.
Designed by Stanford and MIT graduates, STEM Revolution camps and student workshop programs (formerly known as STEMbusUSA) provide K-9th grade students with fun and engaging opportunities to explore science and technology with no experience needed. Each session is filled with exciting, hands-on experiences using science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). These experiences are designed to build interest, knowledge, and technical skills the campers can take with them into the classroom and beyond.
When you join our team as an Intern you will:
Help teachers facilitate STEM Revolution’s curriculum in a way that is exciting to the students you’ll serve.
Report to and collaborate with other STEM Revolution team members.
Cultivate positive relationships with students, families, schools and teachers.
A love for children and a strong desire to make a difference every day.
Available to work after school (3-5:30pm)
The ability to handle multiple priorities and travel between multiple school sites.
A love of technology, video games, and computer programming.
The ability to troubleshoot computer and technology problems by yourself.
Demonstrates a positive and enthusiastic attitude towards internal and external customers.
Pass a background check
Have an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
Use a computer with basic proficiency, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors.
$10-15 an hour depending on experience
